chase the rainbow

written by Tŷ Hafan

Just last week, Tŷ Hafan held its third Rainbow Run in Porthcawl. It brought back great memories for the Narberth & Whitland Round Table as we sponsored a paint station at their Pendine Sands Rainbow Run last year. We were really pleased to support the event as Tŷ Hafan is very close to our hearts.

written by Candice St John

Last week I said goodbye (hopefully not forever) to a young man who I have looked after for almost 10 years! I was with him on his first day in Tŷ Hafan and I was there on his last.

eight days and counting…

written by Mair Kinsey

Life in the Tŷ Hafan events team never stops. We are increasing the number of events that we run every year and they are getting bigger and better every time, raising both awareness of Tŷ Hafan and of course lots of money!

I love my job

written by Sarah Morgan

When people ask about my role at Tŷ Hafan, I always reply that I love my job....and I truly do. I first started working at Tŷ Hafan in 2003 as part of the play team, and I spent three happy years having fun with some of the most incredible children and their families.

The sibling support service provides a variety of support including, the facilitation of socialisation between young people with life-limited siblings, from diagnosis to post-bereavement. I’ve been saying that a lot since I joined Tŷ Hafan last year – from Rainbow Runs and Fun Days to playing Superman in the Christmas Panto, there’s never a dull moment here!
